Each piece in our lacquerware collection is handcrafted in Vietnam, using traditional techniques that have been employed for centuries to create unique, beautiful, and durable objects.

From harvesting the tree sap from which the lacquer is made to sanding and shaping the wooden base, every step of the production process is entirely handmade. Skilled lacquerware artisans apply Caspari’s designs to the wood, adding gold leaf, silver leaf, and hand-painted accents where appropriate, then patiently apply multiple coats of high-gloss lacquer to finish and protect each piece.

The care, attention, and craftsmanship invested in every detail result in a lacquerware collection of exceptional beauty.

Because each item is handcrafted, slight variations in color, finish, or design may occur. We ask for your understanding regarding these minor differences, as each piece is a unique work of art in itself.
